Helping the Road Warrior in All of Us 11

In the shadow of the downtown water tower, at the busiest corner on Wauconda’s Main Street, stands an unassuming business that has been operating nearly 40 years.

“I’m lucky, I’ve got the best location around,” says Mark Wolfe, owner of John’s Complete Auto Service. “We’re right where a lot of people in the area pass by either because they are from here or headed someplace else.”

Wolfe says he knows how his customers depend on their cars and can’t afford to have breakdowns. That’s why he uses the highest quality materials and includes a vehicle safety inspection on all cars serviced. Wolfe and his team of professionals know it is their job to identify and avoid potential mechanical problems, while working to keep every car running like the day it rolled off the factory floor.

“It’s true that cars these days are made much better than they used to be,” Wolfe says. “While the quality level for new cars has gone up we can be lulled into thinking that regular maintenance is a thing of the past.”

His passion for doing quality work hasn’t gone unnoticed in the community. Wolfe recently received the New Entrepreneur of the Year Award, selected by his business peers at the annual Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce in recognition of exceptional vision and commitment to growing his business through premium customer service, competitive pricing, and standing behind his work.
